Charging to D1 between Prague and Brno: pause that works even outside the ideal plan
D1 is a short route for many electric cars today, but a suitable pause often makes sense even without the need to charge. If you need to charge, choose according to your own car, driving direction and backup options - not according to one historical price or declared performance.
How to choose a stop
Check if the station is available in the direction you're driving, how far away it is from the route and what you will be doing during charging. With a car with fast charging, a practical short pause may be possible; on the contrary, the family often wins the background. Always check the current price directly before starting.

What to check before departure
- the current price and the way in which the application or price list of the particular operator is launched;
- the status of the station in the operator application, if provided;
- for foreign travel, the payment method, roaming and any blocking fee;
- own battery reserve according to weather, speed, cargo and actual car consumption.
