Charging in Slovenia: small country, big reason to plan ahead
Slovenia is a short but important section of many trips to the Adriatic. That is why it is not paid to arrive without a deposit and no option chosen in advance.
Two-choice rule
For each scheduled stop have a second, reachable with reserve. If one network or specific stand is out of service, you switch to plan B without having to change the whole day. This is particularly useful in the season peak, when the occupancy changes faster than the static map.
Payment and price
Check whether you are paying directly at the operator, card or roaming. For short charging, ask for starting or time fee. WattBreak indicates the date of verification of the data; the price displayed on the start of the network is always applicable.
Practical checklist
- the pre-frontier charge with a reserve for the first Slovenian alternative;
- the active method of payment and the current application;
- scenario B in the case of a queue;
- a crew break separated from the assumption that all services are open.
What to check before departure
- the current price and the way in which the application or price list of the particular operator is launched;
- the status of the station in the operator application, if provided;
- for foreign travel, the payment method, roaming and any blocking fee;
- own battery reserve according to weather, speed, cargo and actual car consumption.
WattBreak works with public data and date of verification. It does not display the live availability of the stand unless it has a verified realtime source.
WattBreak can get commission if you choose to use an explicitly marked partner link. Partner never changes the order of stations, price in the overview or background assessment. How we work with partner links.
